Enraged, but still within himself, he moved away from the stallions attacks. Regardless, he saw as the sun acted as him friend. Within it's light, the stallion would eventually back off or perish. Even he knew that those whose hearts laid still in their bodies could not last long in the rays of dancing yellow. No matter what, however, he would not fight this brute here in front of a Lady's eyes! And before youth! He may have been one for the ladies but actions such as this were inexcusable. The alabaster coat that lay over his right eye shimmered in the sunlight, reflecting the beams everywhere. He had to be careful not to send them at the mare. She had done nothing here to call forth this fury. Slamming a fore to the ground he demanded answers from the brute, though he kept his voice low so as not to upset the Lady further.

"By what am I bound to obey you? Does she sign her allegiance with you? Are you the father of the foals that lay before her? By what do you have permission to order me about?" His fiery frame shook as he restrained himself from shouting. "Have you some claim that binds her to you? If that is so, do make it known instead of intercepting a conversation that could have very easily included you as well. Why do you bring such violence before a lady when just as simply a challenge could have been issued and henceforth accepted or declined?" With a quiet voice the questions shot out one after another in rapid succession, staying always at a deadly whisper.

He continued, breaking into a lecture. "And my life is not of your concern sir. I shall do with it as I deem necessary. However, I cannot allow you to control the visitors of the Lady before us without her consent. If she wishes me to leave then I shall do so only by her order and no one else's. She is the one in control of this situation, not I, and most certainly not you." He looked down his nose at the other steed, his great Arab facade raised proudly. He did not bow to opposition, and he would not bow to males.

I typed and I typed and I was almost shocked by Lars's behavior. I got into character and thats just what popped out! I didn't mean to make him all angry... I promise... '@_@))

Smoke's head tossed high from where she lay. Maybe that arabic stallion could talk some sense into the other? Wasn't the other's name Blood Knight or something. She struggled to her feet a little. She eyed the stallions calmly. "Blood Knight, I'm not your mate so why do you think you can control what happens to me? Not all mortals are dangerous to vampires. Infact, why else would the Emperor himself be seeking a mortal mare for his mate?" She asked calmly.

I snorted loudly showing him I wasn't afraid of the sun by standing in it. Although it burned my fur, I stepped back into the shade only an inch. Then Ilooked at hte mare. "I never said you were my mate. He asked that. And no, I'm not ther father of these foals." I said coldly. "And I am not the boss of you. Although I wish you do leave. I don't thionk you have any right to bother her, her foals, or I. We're hiding from the sun so we don't die. And I can't go because I will die." I said, "Not that I'm afraid of dieying. I just don't want to die." I said coldly.

He regarded the stag with an icy expression. Just as this stag claimed he could not leave the mare with him, Lars could not leave this fair lady with this brigand. He debated for a moment, then backed into the sun a few more steps before settling to the ground. He had plenty of time to chat before he even had to think much of leaving. There were terms to his stay however.

"Should the Lady desire my departure, I will go. But if not, then I think this a fine place to rest my limbs. There is a prospect for fine company, and I should like to attend to it." He made his statements pointedly. He would not be driven off without reason. The Lady could decide, but not the stag.

Smoke's crystalline gaze watched the arabic brute calmly, mostly trying to judge his character. She sighed softly. "Stay if you wish, I must sleep for the rest of the day so I'm strong enough to care for my twins, though I warn you, they may see you as food when they awaken." She said calmly towards the arabian brute. She turned towards the other brute. "Do not harm him or something ill will happen to you." She said simply as she turned and walked towards her foals, staggering only slightly. She lay down and curled around her foals about half-way with her head facing towards the studs. Her eyelids closed slowly as she drifted off finally.

I nodded to her and back away from the ignorant, as I thought of the brute, stud. I soon fell asleep as well. A mare named Badger came in trotting. She saw thje mare, the mare's foals, the vampiric stud, and the mortal stud. "Hello." Badger said. Her estrus scent was stronger than ever. I tucked my tail hoping he wouldn't notice. "I'm Badger." I said nervously. Dark Blade, Blade they call him, walked in, the sun shined on his coat in an extremely attractive way. He was a vampire, but the sun didn't seem to faze him. He took shelter in the area of the others. He hid in the thick covered forest. He fell asleep about 1/2 hour later.
